- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Don't buy electronics from this store, or any other Shoppers store! I just bought a brand new HP laptop at this location on Monday Feb 13/17. Cost over $550 (but redeemed some points to save $), and the brand new laptop has a manufacturer defect. Makes a weird buzzing/gear sound. Tried to exchange it, but they wouldn't take it back. Called the Shoppers 800#, and they tell me that electronics are considered "final sale", no returns or exchanges. Receipt says 30 day return policy with receipt, website says exchanges accepted if there is a problem with the product, but its all BS. I just opened the box, plugged the laptop in and it obviously has something wrong with it. I have to go through the manufacturer. HP says I'll be without this BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX laptop for 2 weeks (or more) while they "inspect it" to see if it indeed has a problem. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪This is one of the larger Shopper Drug Marts, complete with beauty department, digital desk, groceries, pharmacy. For all of the variety though, it all seems overpriced.
